Residential and Commercial EICR Services

Residential EICR In London

Residential EICR London is priced from £79 for studios and 1-bedroom flats. Perfect for buy-to-let landlords, housing associations, and property management companies. EICR certificates are valid for a maximum 5 years, but you’ll need new ones at every tenancy change.

Commercial EICR In London

Commercial EICR London starts from £180 for small offices and retail units. Larger premises need more extensive testing, so prices scale accordingly. Commercial properties typically need testing every 5 years, though some industrial sites require 3-yearly inspections.

We work with both sectors daily. Housing associations trust us because we understand their volume requirements and budget constraints. Commercial clients choose us because we minimise business disruption with flexible scheduling.

Understanding EICR Codes
What They Mean

Your EICR report uses specific codes:

C1 (Danger Present): Fix immediately - this makes your certificate unsatisfactory
C2 (Potentially Dangerous): Urgent repair needed - also unsatisfactory
C3 (Improvement Recommended): Advisory only - certificate stays satisfactory
FI (Further Investigation): Needs immediate investigation - unsatisfactory

About 50-60% of London properties need some remedial work. Don’t panic if you get C2 or C3 codes – we can handle the repairs.

Chose Diligent Electricals because of excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Ishmael came at short notice for a trip switch issue. Excellent service, very professional, friendly and informative. Will definitely use again.

Have used DEC twice in the past couple of months - great service, communication and both jobs completely extremely quickly. Don’t need to look anywhere else for an electrician in the area (live around Gipsy Hill station!)

Ishmael and Russel connected our garden room to the mains, with lighting, sockets, outside light and external power point. In the house they installed 4 additional sockets and a porch light, and replaced the bathroom light. They worked hard and completed everything in a day. I am confident that the work complies with the regulations. Their quote was very reasonable. Recommended, especially if you want work carried out promptly and efficiently.
